A total of five playable races exist in FFXI, and they're as follows: Hume - The standard, human race. Average stats. Elvaan - A race of strong-willed warriors. Higher than average strength and vitality. Taru Taru - Although small of stature, the Taru Taru race is easily the most skilled race in magic. Galka - Easily the largest of the races, excellent strength, and they excel in both mining and crafting jobs. Mithra - Only playable as female, the Mithra race is extremely agile and fast. |
